Dedans le Sud de la Louisiane plot

In 1972, director Jean-Pierre Bruneau, fascinated by the music, traveled to southern Louisiana. There, he followed Cajun artists and, in the process, captured their culture, which had changed little over the years except for motorized transportation and electricity. The local Mardi Gras celebration is also musically captured. A glimpse into a musical culture that the rest of the United States ignored and Europe was completely unfamiliar with.
