Debut plot
More than 1,500 women, who have committed a crime for the first time, are detained in a women's prison in Belarus. Eleven of them have volunteered to act in a play, as a breather for the prison regime, as a therapy and as a disguised exercise for returning to society. The images of the rehearsal are the common thread in this portrait, which rids the detainees of their stigma as criminals.
