De Toemoek Hoemak Expeditie plot

Filmmaker Freek de Goeje follows in the footsteps of Claudius Henricus de Goeje, who studied the culture of the indigenous Wayana people in Suriname in the early 20th century. Freek investigates whether De Goejes's intervention has done the original population good or bad. Freek goes into the jungle and speaks to local residents, while passages are heard from the report that Claudius de Goeje made around 1907.
