De Meester en de Reus plot

In this experimental film by Johan van der Keuken and co-scriptwriter Claude Ménard, fiction and non-fiction silently alternate. The fictional scenes are set in Amsterdam and consist of alienating dialogues between a tax man and his unemployed wife. The documentary footage shows the poverty in the mountainous Foum Tataouine in Tunisia.
