De Man in het Niets plot

The bizarre story of a man with no memory who is found in the Red Light District in 1985. He calls himself 'Bob Hunter', but that's all he can tell about his past. Only three years later does he remember something. He does not talk - still not in 2004 - and communication is only possible in French via notes. He writes about secret assignments, the CIA, about secret codes and he mentions partially traceable names and places. But even after years of searches by a sergeant of the Amsterdam police and countless analyzes by psychiatrists, his whole story is still unknown.
