De Jacht op de Match plot

Following the trial of a serial rapist in Utrecht, director Hans Pool explores the role and importance of DNA testing in criminal cases. The Utrecht case from the mid-1990s remained unsolved for almost twenty years, until a DNA match came out of nowhere in 2014. The matter could have been cleared up much earlier through enforceable DNA testing. This obligation would cause a major invasion of our privacy. For the time being, the donation of DNA is still done on a voluntary basis. Is such an obligation desirable?
