Bobby Haarms was assistant coach at Ajax for over thirty years. During that period, he experienced the transition from the football-addicted Ajax friends club in stadium De Meer to the commercial, listed company Ajax. The cultural change that accompanied this filled Haarms with great concern. In May 2000 he said goodbye to his club. Rimko Haanstra portrays a living legend in the last year of his career at Ajax.
