De Denker van Anna plot

The sculpture The Thinker, made by the French sculptor Auguste Rodin, was for many years the showpiece in the collection of the Singer Museum in Laren. Until thieves stole the statue from the garden of the museum in 2007 and severely damaged it. The Singer Museum decided to restore the recovered statue. It turned out to be a dramatically difficult operation, which took no less than a year and a half.
