Nine former chief officials of the Ministry of State Security open up about everyday practices during the GDR years. They give a detailed account of Secret Service techniques, psychological tricks during interrogations, and the use of unofficial fellow workers of the Ministry (friends, acquaintances, relatives of the suspect).
