Crónicas del Absurdo plot

In Cuba, artists must be recognized by a state institution that ensures that their work fits into the government’s political vision. Being an independent artist means: no income, no rights, but all kinds of surveillance and intimidation. This documentary highlights a series of disturbing encounters that the artists have had since then with a range of organizations and individuals – in a Kafkaesque manner, oppression creeps up on them from all sides. Even from the regime’s critics, who treat them with the same dogmatism abroad.
