Corneille, Martineau, Sierhuis. Schilderen Is Mijn Zuurstof plot

A portrait in triplicate of the artist as an old man. Corneille, Anton Martineau and Jan Sierhuis once made a name for themselves with the famous Cobra style. They are still active, but the years weigh heavily. Martineau paints a sumptuous nude full of vitality, but sales are difficult. Sierhuis's work, on the other hand, sells like hot cakes, although he doesn't take it too seriously at a vernissage. Corneille is convinced that his paintings will stand the test of time.
