This documentary follows a global competition that fights gender inequality in technology by encouraging young women to choose this field. Technovation is a competition in which high school girls around the world are given three months to build an app that solves a problem in their environment. Chilcott follows the efforts of teams from Brazil, Moldova, Nigeria and India, among others. The winners in two categories (under 14 and over 14) will each receive a prize of $10,000.
