Children of Fate: Life and Death in a Sicilian Family plot

Andrew Young and his wife Susan Todd decided to shelve the black-and-white documentary Cortile Cascino from 1961 by his father Robert M. Young and his associate Michael Roemer about a young family rich with children from a Palermo slum, and the thread thirty years to be interpreted later with color images and interviews, to show how this family fared. At the center is Angela, mother of seven, now in her fifties and separated from her brutal husband, a good-for-nothing who once resembled Elvis Presley, and who now spends his days in solitude and remorse.
