Chantons sous l'Occupation plot

This documentary looks instead at the everyday life of ordinary people, at the French population and the desire to survive under the occupation. French entertainers perform for the Germans and French attend the German entertainment as well. Practically the day after the German occupation, newspapers again advertise restaurants, but in German. The brothels of French 'madams' make money from their German clients and one of the ladies even suggests that her German clientele was cleaner and thus more preferable than their later American audience.
