Ch'ul Be, Senda Sagrada plot

In the town of San Andrés Larrainzar in southeastern Mexico, the Mayan culture of the Tsotsil is still alive and well. Every inhabitant is partly responsible for the collective well-being, but only a few are called - often in a dream - to serve the gods. Preparations for the annual festival in honor of patron saint San Andrés are in full swing. The focus of the film is on the couple Martha and Diego, who are appointed as guardians of this apostle, and on Román and his son Tino, who are called to serve as musicians.
