Casting a Glance plot

A tribute to the American artist Robert Smithson. Between May 15, 2005 and January 14, 2007, Benning made 16 trips to Spiral Jetty. Spiral Jetty is a spiral jetty, made of rocks, soil, salt and red algae. This artwork is located in the Great Salt Lake, Utah. Benning filmed the Jetty in a variety of weather conditions, from early morning to late night.
