Caballerango plot
Nando, a young cowboy in the Mexican countryside, has taken his own life after an argument with his father. In Caballerango we see the boy's relatives and fellow villagers, who explain themselves with the new reality that emerges from this inexplicable tragedy. Each of their stories reveals a different aspect of this farming village, where modernization has brought about profound changes. The confrontation between an age-old way of life and today's world appears to cause serious identity crises among the younger generation.
