Bud and Lou plot
"Comedy is No Laughing Matter"
Bud Abbott and Lou Costello were a comedy duo that was very popular in the 1940s-50s. They made history with scketches like "Who's on First". Based on Bob Thomas's book, Thompson attempts to sketch the turbulent life of Abbott & Costello, both privately and during their careers. No archival material is used, but key scenes are re-enacted by Harvey Korman (Abbott) and Buddy Hackett (Costello).
