Bring the Sun Home plot

Maura and Rosa are two women from a village in El Salvador where there is no light. They have just arrived at the NGO Barefoot College in India where they are taking a course for illiterate people with about forty women to learn how to use solar energy. At the end of their stay they will no longer be simple wives and mothers, but technicians who will bring the sun into the house.
