Gone are the days of ransom notes made from torn magazine letters or newspaper manifestos in bombastic language. Today's media-wise terrorist uses film images for manipulation, intimidation and propaganda. Hardly any other organization is as adept at this as Islamic State. The fundamentalist terror group distributes tightly directed and sophisticatedly edited videos as part of the fight against infidels.
