Boatbuilders plot

At the end of a remote port in Maine, the approximately sixty workers of the Brooklin Boat Yard bend wooden planks around a frame, execute precise saw cuts, and sand the edges for seamless joints; the result is a series of the world's most magnificent and sought-after wooden vessels. Over four vibrant seasons, director Luke Lorentzen follows the meticulous construction of a sailboat over 17 meters long and allows us to share in the lives of these men and their close-knit community.
