Beyond the Fence plot

'Beyond the Fence' explores how photography can engage young people from rural communities in conservation. In rural South Africa, where most people have never had the chance to see wildlife, Queen, Rifumo and Wisani develop into young eco-warriors. Armed with a camera, the trio tries to rise above their troubled past and reformulate the story of conservation. The three have one goal: to inspire young people from their community to protect South Africa's natural heritage.
