Beyond Blood plot

Shortly after the turn of the century, a new generation of filmmakers was ready to conquer France. Films such as Martyrs, Á l'Interieur, Frontière(s) and Haute Tension formed the basis of the New Wave of French Horror. It was no longer hidden that France also had a Nazi past. Brutal violence by women was no longer a problem and guns - which hardly appear in the American horror before 2010 - are also making their appearance.
