Betty Blowtorch (And Her Amazing True Life Adventures) plot
Bianca Butthole, Blare N. Bitch and Sharon Needles met when they played in the band 'Butt Trumpet', the first punk group after the Sex Pistols to receive a worldwide recording contract from EMI. However, because of the lyrics in one of their songs, they got the attention of the Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC), founded by Tipper Gore, Al Gore's wife. The PMRC fought against sexually explicit texts, suggesting that they are responsible for many rapes and suicides among young people. This brought the band far more fame than it caused any problems. But at the same time it caused serious struggles in the band.
