Bellaria - So Lange Wir Leben! plot

Behind the famous Volkstheater in Vienna is the repertory cinema Bellaria, where ancient films from the good old UFA days are shown. Every afternoon at four o'clock many people over seventy shuffle in. In Bellaria they relive their youth and the good manners and taste of yesteryear. They also feast on the charming manners between the sexes at the time and the then widely respected petty-bourgeois values. Here they control time and cherish the illusion that nothing has changed since 1940. In Bellaria, people dream of the true Jacob as if he hadn't been dead for years...
