Behinderte Zukunft plot
In this documentary, filmmaker Werner Herzog examines how physically handicapped children in West Germany were treated in the period 1960-1970. Several disabled children are interviewed and tell their stories. Many of them, mainly thanks to the government, have no hope of a normal future. Later, Herzog looks at how disabled people were treated in the United States.
