Beethoven's Hair plot

This documentary traces the unlikely journey of a tuft of hair cut from Beethoven's corpse, thus unraveling the secret of his tormented life and death. The film begins when Ira Brilliant and Che Guevara, two fans of Beethoven, buy her at an auction at Sotheby. Then follows a quest into the past for its previous owners, which culminates in the futuristic science revealing Beethoven's medical secret.
