Beest plot

Walter Arfeuille has all the makings of a tragic hero. All his life he wants to be the strongest and the strongest. He therefore does everything he can to beat his great rival, powerhouse John Massis, who is known in Flanders as 'the strongest person'. His obsession pushes him to the limit: it's never big, heavy or sensational enough. It earns him the nickname 'the beast', but also almost brings him down. The fallen hero slowly crawls back to his feet, with a twinkle in his eye he reveals his new plans. An intimate portrait of a strong character.

Watched this documentary once. I didn't know this man, so it was interesting to have seen it. The documentary shows the highlights, but also shows a man who has lost many of his feathers. The documentary doesn't last that long, so it certainly didn't bore me. Good to have seen it once.
