Artek: Het Ideale Vakantiekamp plot

In Ukraine's Crimea, an international children's holiday camp is trying to survive in a new era. This international children's camp is not just any youth camp. Artek was a very exclusive holiday camp for young people from the former Soviet Union. Millions of young pioneers (the Soviet equivalent of scouting) dressed in red neckerchiefs and full of socialist ideals regarded Artek as the promised land. The elect who were allowed to Artek belonged to the elite of the Russian workers' state, it was the highest reward for talented young people.
