Argentine, les 500 Bébés Volés de la Dictature plot

In Argentina, under the dictatorial rule of Videla (1976-1983), thousands of political opponents were kidnapped and murdered. Among them were pregnant women who gave birth in captivity, after which they were executed. Their babies have been illegally adopted by friends of the regime. In 2012, after years of struggle by the 'foolish grandmothers of the Plazo de Mayo', some of the leaders of this operation were convicted. Only a fifth of the missing children have been found so far.
