Anne & Jean-Paul: Onze Wereld plot

Together they live independently in their own apartment in Montélimar, France. The film follows Anne, who is completely bilingual, and Jean-Paul in their daily lives, delving into their mindset and logic: from getting up, going to work at the sheltered workshop, drinking coffee at Café des Sports, to the weekends away at the care farm and the holiday. “We save ourselves, without escorts,” Jean-Paul says in the film. But independence takes effort and concentration and often outside help is needed.
