As one of the filmmakers approaches 50, she decides to revisit the places, people and dreams that have influenced her life, both in her mind and in reality. She talks to childhood comrades and friends from her days as a young activist; she asks a filmmaker friend to film her great love during his return to his beloved city. The film is an intimate portrait of four strong women, the filmmaker and her dear friends, of their personal struggles and the changes they have undergone in captivity.
