Amour, Sexe et Mobylette plot

This docu-fiction, made up of a lot of intertwined storylines, tries to get to the heart of what 'Love' means to the inhabitants of a small town in Burkina Faso. The documentary tries to portray the African experience of love on the basis of a search for youthful desire, the wisdom of age, the nostalgia of widows and the excitement of betrothed. But the question posed to us, the viewers, is universal: 'What do we do with our stories about love?' This film explores a dynamic African context, influenced by - like any place in the world today - globalization, where Valentine's Day is on the calendar and where Brazilian soap operas influence the dreams of love of thousands of people.
