American Vagabond plot

The parents of eighteen-year-old James do not accept that he is gay. He therefore flees with his boyfriend Tyler to San Francisco, the gay capital of the world. As they look for work and sleep in parks, their free-spirited dream soon evaporates. James only seems to get closer to his parents when the next drama occurs.
