American Falls plot

Phil Solomon chemically changes 16 millimeter films into thick pasty celluloid. Solomon blends elements of newsreel, current affairs and narrative films into a monumental retelling of American history that draws parallels and reflects on the current state of affairs within the nation. He mixes Houdini, Harold Lloyd, Buster Keaton and King Kong with presidents, prospectors, railroad barons and the civil rights movement.
