Filmmaker Ina Borrmann postponed her wish to have children until the biological last possible moment. Looking back, she finds that her mother had children because all the girls did then. She considers herself fortunate that her parents raised her as an emancipated, independent young woman. She enjoyed her freedom, studied and worked a bit, and enrolled in the film academy. And then Marc came. With the security she felt with him, there was also the desire to have children. Suddenly and unexpectedly, from the dark depths of her psyche, as she puts it herself.
