Demond Melancon is an African American artist living in New Orleans. Due to the restructuring of the city after the catastrophic flooding, the artist had to leave his neighborhood and now lives in one of the poorer areas, far from the city center. Director Michal Pietrzyk joins the artist in the weeks leading up to Mardi Gras Day.
