Algérie: Les Promesses de l'Aube plot

On April 2, 2019, Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika will resign after 20 years. His resignation comes after mass protests erupted in February over his announcement that he would run for a fifth consecutive time in the next election. In this documentary, Julie Peyrard and Leïla Beratto look for the driving forces behind this wave of protest; mostly young people who yearn for democracy and justice.
