Alamanya Alamanya plot

Fifty years ago, troubadour Metin Türköz, now 71 years old, left for Germany with his saxophone as a guest worker. Over time, with his instrument and through his singing, he became the voice of the Turkish guest workers in Germany. Ceren was bullied by her classmates as a child because of her poor German. But she persevered and completed a university degree as a teacher of German. Rapper Çağlar Budaklı from Kreuzberg has experienced first hand what it means to be a child of migrants. He joined a gang and ended up in jail.
