A Place to Call Home plot

A father and his two daughters arrive in Sweden from Iran after wandering through Wales and the Netherlands and explore their new home. There are cozy rooms, a nice hot meal and a splashing shower. The images emphasize the desire to come home, while the main characters do not seem to arrive completely. This film shows the daily situation of people who end up in a foreign country against their will and have to adapt to a new environment, and the feelings of isolation and disorientation that come with it.
