A Murder in Mansfield plot
Collier Landry, 38, returns to his hometown of Mansfield, Ohio, where, as a 12-year-old, he testified against his father, the physician John Boyle, who murdered Collier's mother Noreen on New Year's Eve 1989. After the trial, Collier lost contact with all of his relatives, while his manipulative, narcissistic father still has his grip on him. To come to terms with the past, Collier visits the defining places and people of the time: his childhood home, his high school, the court, the research director, his adoptive parents and his mother's best friend.
