A Farm for the Future plot

Using her family farm in Devon, Rebecca Hosking explores how to create a futuristic farm that uses a minimum of energy. Her father is close to retirement and Rebecca will take over. Last year's high petrol prices made her realize that all food production in the UK is tied to the cost of fossil fuels. With the help of pioneers in this field, she is looking for ways to produce food without using fossil fuels. It turns out that nature is key in the whole process.
