7 Lagos, 7 Vidas plot

David Riaño, an environmental scientist at CSIC and diagnosed with ALS (a neurodegenerative muscle disease that results in a progressive loss of motor neurons that control muscles), decides to chase his dream. He will travel through Eastern Europe to dive in the lakes. By adapting a van to sleep, eat and shelter in, and with the help of Senegalese taxi driver Serigne Mbake and "tuno" Rubén Fuentes, David will search for the meaning of his suffering by doing what he what he likes most: traveling and floating in the water.
