This documentary reconstructs the story behind the only non-German photographs from inside the Warsaw Ghetto during the 1943 Uprising. The young firefighter Zbigniew Leszek Grzywaczewski secretly recorded how the uprising was suppressed. Eighty years later, his son discovered the forgotten negatives. Together with researchers and archivists, he unravels the origins of the images, the people in them, and the events of those tragic days.
