24th Street plot

There is less and less room in China for touts like Su, a man who sets up a dilapidated diner at a large construction site on 24th street in Hangzhou. Unlicensed, illegal, so it's no surprise when he – along with the other illegal residents of the construction site – is turned away by the authorities. Su and his girlfriend Qin cheerfully look for another place, where they can start building again. But due to the rapid urban development, he is soon driven out there too.
