Within the Law plot
Mary Turner, is wrongly accused and subsequently convicted of theft by her employer Edward Gilder. During her time in prison, she decides to study law books. After her release, Mary teams up with another woman to legally defraud wealthy men, including Dick Gilder, the son of her accuser.
