Virgil Bliss plot

After serving 12 years in prison, Virgil Bliss (Clint Jordan) tries to start a normal life while on probation. He decides to look for a job, get married and start a family. The only problem is that he lives in a reintegration house and doesn't know any women. His roommate Manny Alvarez (Anthony Gorman) introduces him to the prostitute Ruby (Kirsten Russell). Virgil immediately falls for her and after being released from the reintegration house he moves in with her. He gets a job as a janitor and starts to build a good life. But Ruby stops him from living a normal life and tries to bring him back into the criminal world. As a result, Virgil has to make some hard decisions about his values and the lifestyle he envisions.
