Einar, a journalist at the Icelandic newspaper Evening Press, makes a report about the disappearance of an actor with photographer Joa. At the same time, a woman falls into the water during a rafting trip in Skagafjörður. Einar's curiosity is aroused and he discovers that there is a connection between the two cases.
