The Spider Returns plot

"THE FAMOUS CRIME SMASHER OF "THE SPIDER" MAGAZINE WARS ON SECRET FOREIGN AGENTS!"

A gang of saboteurs, led by 'The Gargoyle', a mysterious and powerful agent from an unknown land, sabotage projects for national defense purposes. Amateur criminologist Richard Wentworth goes incognito again as the masked 'The Spider' to do battle with The Gargoyle and his henchmen. The Spider organizes the largest meeting in the country with influential businessmen, but The Gargoyle's men disrupt this meeting with tear gas canisters. When The Spider chases them, he is captured.
