"It's a CRIME if you miss The MURDER of DOCTOR HARRIGAN"
Hospital administrator Peter Melady calls himself the developer of a new anesthetic, a panacea. He is about to undergo a dangerous operation that will be performed by the clever Dr. Leo Harrigan, Melady's old adversary. The police are called when the murdered body of Dr. Harrigan is found in an elevator. And Melady, last seen being wheeled to the operating room by Harrigan on a stretcher, is gone. The police must try to solve this case.
